We are thrilled to announce that AMI Beach Weddings and Hometown Desserts have been awarded funding from the Glazer Family Small Business Fund! This support comes at a perfect time as both businesses—fully operational and thriving—continue to grow and enhance their services following the challenges of the most recent hurricane season.

The Glazer Family Small Business Fund, created by the Glazer family, owners of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, is assisting 95 small businesses across Tampa Bay and West Central Florida in their recovery from Hurricanes Helene and Milton. This grant will help us strengthen our businesses as we move forward, ensuring we can serve couples and the Anna Maria Island community even better than before.

Despite the temporary disruptions caused by Hurricane Helene’s storm surge, Hometown Desserts and AMI Beach Weddings are not just back in business—we are thriving. With a renewed commitment to excellence, this grant allows us to build upon our success, expand our services, and enhance the experience for every couple and customer we serve.

For Cindy Tutterow, owner of Hometown Desserts, this grant will help her continue delivering the island’s most beloved wedding cakes, including her famous Key Lime Coconut Cake, with the same personal touch and signature Southern charm that couples love.
